Summer School
Gables' popular state-approved summer school program for students in grades 6-12 has been offered since Summer of 2007. The combination of small classes and certified instructors enables your student to remediate deficiencies in the subject(s) taken. Classes are held Monday through Thursday for a seven-week period.

A fee of $25 will be charged for registrations received after the deadline. Please call the office for more detailed information. Since we have limited openings available, it is recommended that registration be completed as soon as possible. Please call ahead for information about required paperwork.

Summer School Curriculum

Grades 6-8 Academics:

•	Reading	• Mathematics	• English
•	Social Studies	• Science
•	A student may take a maximum of two subjects.
•	The application must be accompanied by full payment and written approval of the school the student attends during the regular season.

•	English I, II, III, IV	• American History	• Civics
•	Free Enterprise	• Physical Science	• Algebra I, II
•	Geometry	• Biology	• Chemistry
•	Special arrangements will be considered for those secondary students who need a specific course to meet graduation requirements.
•	A maximum of 1 1/2 deficiency credits may be earned in summer school.
•	The application must be accompanied by full payment and written approval of the school the student attends during the regular session.
